 | Desert Rose just south of the Northern Territory-South Australia border on the morning of he 4th day. Desert Rose is in 4th position. Finally after two days of cloudy weather which caused some problems for the cars there is not a cloud to be seen.

 | Spirit of Canberra finally on the road after the morning's preparations. Each team has to re-assemble the car and ensure that it is ready to race. Other members break camp and load everything into the vehicles. The team needs to be ready to drive away by 8:00am - the start of the days racing.

The team member is removing the additional solar panels attached to the bottom of the main array. These are used to provide extra charge. Many cars carry these extra panels. They cannot be used during racing and instead have to packed up and carried inside the solar car.
